VALORI SIMS is graduate of Whittier Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in December of 2007. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2008. Ms. Sims attended UC Berkeley and earned a Paralegal certificate from St. Mary’s College in 1991. Prior to law school, Ms. Sims had extensive experience with workers’ compensation. She was employed as a paralegal/hearing representative for Aetna/Travelers house counsel. She was also employed as a paralegal by solo practitioners handling workers’ compensation matters from both the Applicant and Defense perspectives. Prior to joining Albert and MacKenzie, Ms. Sims was an Associate Attorney for McDonald Law Corporation where she handled files for CIGA (Intercare, Sedgwick, XChanging), Macy’s, AARLA, Gallagher Bassett, Wal-Mart, and SRS.
