Managing Partners PETER N. MACKENZIE - Managing Partner
PETER N. MACKENZIE, was admitted to the California Bar in 1991. He is a graduate of California State University at Northridge, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing. Mr. Mackenzie thereafter went on to study law at Southwestern University School of Law, graduating in 1991 with a Juris Doctor degree. He is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association, and Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorneys’ Association. He has extensive experience in defense of workers’ compensation claims, also including defense of Labor Code section 132(a) and Serious and Willful misconduct claims. Mr. Mackenzie is well-versed in the depositions of injured workers, physicians, and witnesses and believes that a claim can often be successfully defended at deposition. His creative and earnest approach to claims has resulted in more than 25 "Take Nothing" Awards at trial, during his career as a defense attorney.
